Having lived in an urban environment most of my adult life, I sometimes get frustrated in West Virginia. It is beautiful though. My boyfriend and I go hiking a lot. It is wonderful to escape my weekday cubicle environment and explore the richness of the forests here. This picture was taken at the Lewis Wetzel Wildlife Management Area. Jim has done a lot of bird research there, which is the basis for his dissertation.
