I am choosing to look at my breast-cancer diagnosis as an adventure. There will be so many new experiences. A lot of them will not be pleasant, to say the least. Maybe I have no idea what I am in for. The only surgery I ever had was getting my wisdom teeth out. A mastectomy and breast reconstruction would be major operations. Not to mention the changes to my body. My hair will probably fall out. And I will be on anti-hormone therapy, so I will lose estrogen. There are still many questions to be answered.
