Tomorrow, I return to the office after my breast surgery. I think I am ready. The three weeks off I had were sorely needed. Not just because of the physical recuperation I was going through, but also because I had been mentally burned out from months of chemo while working. During my recuperation, I signed up for an online writing course: Focus on the Short Story. It is going pretty well so far. I need something like this in my life right now.
