In this modern world of constant information feeds, I have found solace recently in reading paper books. I have piles of books in my apartment and read parts of each of them when I can. This is a slow process. I would like to read more. Almost every piece of advice I see from published authors contains the suggestion to read a lot. I took some fiction-writing courses in college and still have one of the books assigned by a professor: The Art of the Tale by Daniel Halpern. Since my medium is the short story, I want to read as many of the pieces in this anthology as I can.
