Recently, I enrolled in an online Mindfulness at Work challenge. I am hoping that it will help me calm my mind and focus better. During my workday, I often have emotional reactions to things people say, actions that are taken or not taken, or conversations that I am not privy to.
One technique I am learning is to not take my thoughts so seriously. They are just thoughts in my head that may or may not be true. Like a lot of people, I spend a great deal of time ruminating about the past and worrying about the future.
