It is a relief to know that my cancer is Stage IIA. When my husband was diagnosed with melanoma, it was already at Stage IV. I think I can manage this. The question now is whether I have chemotherapy first or surgery first. I bought some big shirts last week in case I need them after surgery. Maybe my next step will be picking out a wig. I might get my hair cut very short if it is going to fall out.
