I feel more rested than I have in a while. Things really do slow down during the holidays around here. I have some time alone because my boyfriend is in Boston visiting his family. Although I feel lonely at times, it has also been great to have the apartment to myself. Jim and I did a video chat the other night. I also got to say hi to his family. They are so nice. Today I am going to a special New Year’s Day yoga class. Tomorrow, when I have to go back to work, I’m sure I will fall into the old mindset again. Today, though, is different.
